Telephone Box for Trees Down on Their Luck

Life is hard when you're a Christmas tree. One day you're the center of everyone's world, bringing holiday cheer to all. Then 12 days later you find yourself out on the street, wrestling hobo's and tramps for the prized telephone box with the most windows still intact. Gotta make a call? Too bad!

Christmas Snow on Electric Avenue


At 9am this morning, I found myself strolling though Brixton's Electric Avenue market while heavy snow began to fall. The shops and stalls were just setting up for the day, and everyone was in great spirits, happy see the white stuff adding a bit of Christmas spirit on the final busy weekend before December 25.

Builder Gremlins in central London

 
I spotted these little builder figures painted on a work site I think on Gower Street, just North of the British Museum. I don't know if the company likes them or not, but it would be great to see more of this kind of thing on all the building sites you find in any city.
